Science Trip to Dallowgill

This February students from Manor Croft were warmly welcomed to Dallowgill Environmental and Outdoor Education Centre to undertake science in a new light. Science lessons took place in a beautiful, informative classroom decorated with wildlife, with views of the natural world outside.
Dinner was cooked up by Amir S, Jenson H and Maddi K, and enjoyed by all before making toasted marshmallows around a firepit (for about 10 minutes before the British weather kicked in!)
When students were not soaking in the breath taking scenery in the warmth of the newly renovated building, they embraced crisp winds when visiting the Greygarth monument on a hike around the local area.
When asked for feedback on their stay, students commented that the only bad thing was that they couldn’t stay longer!
