Sports Hall Athletics Success!

On Tuesday 14^th January the Year 7 & Year 8 Athletics teams attended the local Sports Hall Athletics competition with aspirations of qualifying for the next round. 

With some incredible teamwork, passion and an array of outstanding individual performances the Year 7 team were able to beat a number of local teams to come 2^nd in their phase of the competition. This means they will move into the next round and look for further success.

The Year 8 team were particularly impressive and pushed themselves to the limit to secure a 1^st place finish in an extremely tight evening of sport! 

Mr Crook and Miss Hawkins who coached the team to victory were impressed with the dedication, teamwork and encouragement shown by all students who attended.
