Exciting New Student Mentoring Project with Northorpe Hall

We are delighted to announce the launch of an exciting new Student Mentoring Project in partnership with Northorpe Hall.

Following a rigorous application process, 18 successful Year 10 students were selected to take part in a specialised coaching session focused on mentor training. During the session, students developed key skills in communication, empathy, leadership, and emotional awareness, all essential qualities for supporting others within our school community.

We were incredibly impressed by the dedication, maturity, and compassion shown by our new mentors. They demonstrated a genuine commitment to making a positive difference and are now fully equipped to begin their work supporting Year 7 and Year 8 students.

Through this mentoring programme, our Year 10 students will help to build confidence, promote wellbeing, and foster a supportive and inclusive environment across Manor Croft Academy.

This initiative marks an exciting step forward in empowering our young leaders to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
