MCA Talks

As part of their enrichment project in English, our Year 9 students were challenged to take part in our MCA Talks event and tell us all about something they would like to make a difference to. The students displayed their oracy skills by delivering passionate speeches about topics of their choice. They took public speaking in their stride and approached topics such as: racism, discrimination, sexual harassment, mental health, and feminism. This was a wonderful way of enhancing their confidence and oracy skills.
