Manor Croft Academy are extremely proud to announce that Ella Thompson- Year 9 has come 2nd in the Delta Poetry Competition! Ella wrote a stunning poem about Marie Curie which linked to the big question in English- ‘How can you overcome adversity?

Ella performed this poem at our recent Open Evening and she has also volunteered to recite this in assemblies for National Poetry Day. Well done, Ella. We’re so proud of you!
