Ski Trip February 2025

On Sunday 16^th February 2025, 54 students and 6 staff set out from Manor Croft Academy on the trip of a lifetime. The destination was the fantastic ski resort of Folgarida in the north of Italy. After a smooth flight from Manchester to Venice, followed by a coach journey to our hotel in Dimaro, students were treated to 5 glorious days of sun, snow and excitement as they honed their skills on the slopes. It was amazing to see so many students develop their confidence from complete novices on skis to being able to tackle blue, red and even some black routes down the mountain. Students also took part in a full evening activity programme including; ice skating, pizza night, quiz nights and everyone’s favourite… Karaoke! At the end of the week, we held an awards night where students were presented with ski awards from their fabulous instructors as well as some other awards nominated by staff. All in all, it was another hugely successful MCA ski trip and students have been left with memories they will cherish forever. We can’t wait to get back on the slopes in 2027!
