Kirklees Council have rounded up a list of the best events and activities to do throughout the holidays. From fairy and trolls’ trails to the ultimate cinema experience there is something for everyone!

We know that the summer holidays can often be daunting. Let’s face it by the first week you’ll probably be fed up with the kids asking, ‘what are we doing today?’ That is why we are here to help!

For each week during the holidays, we have put together a list of fun activities and events happening in Kirklees.

summer s’cool gives children and young people in Wakefield the opportunity to be inspired and expand their minds through an exciting range of creative learning experiences.

Our FREE programmes support younger generations to develop new skills – giving local youth the chance to explore possibilities that could inform their future.

Expect music, visual arts, digital design and a whole load of fun!
