Winning Netball Teams!

During the past two weeks the Academy netball teams have restarted their season after the Christmas break. Teams across Years 7 – 10 completed their first game back against Batley Grammar School. The students involved showed outstanding attitude, behaviour, teamwork and skill across all 4 games – not a surprise after the commitment shown to training and development throughout the Academy year so far. 

The teams achieved some outstanding results with a clean sweep of wins for the Academy! 

Year 7 – 3-0 win

Year 8 – 4-1 win

Year 9 11-3 win

Year 10 18-1 win

Miss Payne, who has coached the teams throughout the year, was exceptionally proud of all of the students involved and is looking forward to the upcoming matches and hoping for further success.
