WW1 Soldier Experience
Year 7 started their Enrichment week with a bang! The English Department hired the WW1 Museum in a box, which had artefacts and memorabilia from WW1. Students spent time discussing why specific items would’ve been helpful during the war and if they still have any relevance now.
As well as our museum in a box, we had the pleasure of inviting a soldier into the academy! Students had a wonderful experience learning how to march, the uniform soldiers were expected to wear and how they used to lie about their ages when they enlisted.
