Year 7 English Enrichment

After reading Michael Morpurgo’s Private Peaceful last half term, Y7 have now completed a two-week enrichment project revolving around the themes of war and conflict.

Once again, we have teamed up with Tolson Memorial Museum who kindly allowed us to borrow their fantastic WW1 Museum in a Box.

This allowed our students to immerse themselves into the lives and experiences of WW1 soldiers and gather inspiration for their own work.

Our students now have a deeper understanding of the context of the novel as well as Remembrance Day which has also fallen during this period.
